Inter boss Antonio Conte has stressed his relationship with Manchester United target Christian Eriksen is the same as with any other player.
After establishing himself as one of the most creative midfielders in the Premier League, Eriksen made the transfer move to Milan in hope of becoming that world class player he had ambitions to be.
However, since his move to Milan, he has not become the calming playmaker that the Italian giants had hoped he could be, and has struggled to get into Antonio Conte’s starting line-up, which has led to all sorts of speculation in the coming days.
The latest rumours have suggested that he has been linked to all the big clubs in the transfer window, even United, who failed to buy another creative midfielder that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was hoping to buy.
And amid the speculation, Conte has stressed his relationship with Eriksen is the same as with any other player, despite the fact he is tipped to leave the club when the transfer window opens up in just a few weeks time.
“My rapport with Christian is the same as all the other players. I will never tire of explaining that what I do and the choices I make are for the good of Inter,” Conte was quoted on TMW
“The last thing I do is look at the face of the player, it’s about everything else. Eriksen is working and he is at our disposal.”
It was a massive decision from Eriksen to leave Tottenham, especially because he believed that he would win trophies elsewhere, so it just shows that the grass is not greener on the other side.
But would he be the right kind of fit to United?
