Traditionally, every week we bring you a list of the top performances of Poles who are currently playing abroad.
   #1. This week’s number one is an experienced former international power forward Maciej Lampe (210-85, currently plays in France). He led Limoges CSP Elite to a victory over the 15th-ranked JSF Nanterre (7-13) crushing them 88-66 in the French Jeep ELITE ProA in Tuesday night’s game.
Lampe was MVP of the game. He scored 19 points, grabbed 8 rebounds and dished 3 assists in 22 minutes on the court.
Limoges CSP Elite (3-1) is placed first in the Jeep ELITE ProA.
It was his team’s third consecutive victory in a row.
They will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And that game will be critical.
Lampe has relatively good stats this year: 13.3ppg, 6.0rpg, 2.3apg, 2FGP: 57.1%(16-28), 3FGP: 18.2% in three games he played so far.
He has a dual citizenship: Swedish and Polish.
Lampe played for the Polish senior national team two years ago.

   #2. Second place goes to an international shooting guard A.J. Slaughter (191-87, agency: BeoBasket, college: WKU, currently plays in Spain). He was the main contributor in a Gran Canaria‘s victory against the closely-ranked Burgos (20-12) 83-74 in the Spanish Liga Endesa last Sunday.
Slaughter was the best player in that game. He scored 18 points.
Herbalife Gran Canariais placed eighth in the Liga Endesa.
This season Slaughter has relatively solid stats: 13.2ppg, 2.3rpg, 3.4apg, 1.1spg, 2FGP: 52.1%, 3FGP: 38.5% and FT: 82.2%.
He is a naturalized American.
Slaughter is in the roster of the Polish senior national team. Strangely he has never played in Poland.

   #3. The Polish player who performed third best last week abroad was an international center Aleksander Balcerowski (217-0, also represented by BeoBasket, currently plays in Spain) is a teammate of previously mentioned A.J. Slaughter and both played together in the last Spanish Liga Endesa game.
Balcerowski contributed to a Gran Canaria‘s victory against the closely-ranked Burgos (20-12) 83-74.
He scored 12 points and grabbed 5 rebounds.
Balcerowski’s overall stats this season are: 5.3ppg, 2.5rpg, 2FGP: 61.6%(45-73) and FT: 59.5%.
He is also a member of the Polish senior national team.
   #4. Small forward Jaroslaw Zyskowski (203-92, currently plays in Spain) could not help Bilbao (7-24) in their last game. Despite Zyskowski’s very good performance Bilbao lost 90-99 on the road to the second-ranked Valencia Basket.
He was the second best scorer with 19 points in 21 minutes.
It was Bilbao’s fourth consecutive loss in a row.
There are only three games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game is very crucial.
This year Zyskowski averages: 9.3ppg and 2.1rpg in 26 games.
He is also Polish national team player.

   #5. Former international shooting guard Dardan Berisha (191-88, currently plays in Kosovo) was not able to help Peja (15-13) in their last game. Despite Berisha’s very good performance Peja was edged 112-111 on the opponent’s court by the leading Prizreni.
He was the top scorer with 43 points. Berisha also added 4 rebounds and dished 4 assists (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) in 42 minutes.
It’s Berisha’s first season with the team.
He has individually a very good year with high stats. Berisha averages: 19.6ppg, 4.9rpg and 4.6apg in 21 games.
He is another player who holds two passports: Polish and Kosovan.
Berisha used to play for the Polish national team
six years ago.

   #6. Guard David Logan (184-82, college: Indianapolis, currently plays in Italy) was not able to secure a victory for one of league’s weakest teams Treviso (3-3) in their game against Venezia (24-1) in the Italian Serie A.
Logan scored 7 points, made 4 passes and 3 steals in 32 minutes.
Treviso was badly defeated 82-62 on the opponent’s court by the leading Venezia.
The Regular Season already ended.
Logan has very impressive stats this year: 17.3ppg, 2.3rpg, 2.8apg and 1.5spg in 27 games.
He is a naturalized American.
Logan is a former international player as he played for the Polish senior team twelve years ago.
He used to play for WTK Anwil Wloclawek in Polish league.

   #7. International forward Adam Waczynski (199-89, currently plays in Spain) couldn’t help Unicaja Malaga (14-16) in their game against Zaragoza (9-21) in the Spanish Liga Endesa.
Waczynski scored 6 points in 19 minutes.
Unicaja Malaga was crushed 101-78 on the opponent’s court by the lower-ranked (#13) Zaragoza.
There are only four games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be important.
Waczynski is one of the most experienced players in a team as it’s his fifth year in Unicaja Malaga’s roster.
This season his overall stats are: 8.0ppg and 1.9rpg in 30 games.
Waczynski is also Polish national team player.

   #8. Forward Mathieu Wojciechowski (200-92, currently plays in France) couldn’t help Le Portel (8-10) in their game against Pau-Lacq-Orthez (7-15) in the French Jeep ELITE ProA.
He scored 8 points and had 3 steals.
Le Portel was crushed 90-68 on the opponent’s court by the one of league’s weakest teams Pau-Lacq-Orthez (#17).
There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season.
Wojciechowski’s total stats this season are: 7.0ppg and 3.1rpg.
He used to play for the Polish national team
back in 2019.
   #9. Former U20 international shooting guard Mateusz Dziemba (192-92, currently plays in France) managed to help ALM Evreux Basket in a victory against the second-ranked Saint-Quentin (15-7) 81-79 in the French ProB (second division) on Wednesday night.
Dziemba scored 5 points and added 6 passes in 23 minutes.
ALM Evreux Basket (13-9) is placed eighth in the ProB.
It was his team’s third consecutive victory in a row.
This year Dziemba’s total stats are: 4.5ppg, 1.5rpg, 5.5apg and 1.5spg in two games.
He used to play for the Polish U20 national team
nine years ago.

The list of other players, who all have Polish passport but never been selected to any of Polish national teams:

   #1. Yovel Zoosman (200-G/F-98, currently plays in Israel) led Maccabi T-A to a victory against the sixth-ranked Maccabi Haifa (10-13) 82-78 in the Israeli Winner League on Saturday night.
Zoosman scored 11 points and grabbed 8 rebounds in a mere 19 minutes.
Maccabi Playtika Tel-Aviv (19-5) is placed first in the Winner League.
The Regular Season already ended.
It’s Zoosman’s sixth season with the team.
This year he averages: 6.9ppg, 3.2rpg and 1.5apg in 14 games he played so far.
Zoosman has a dual citizenship: Polish and Israeli.

   #2. Juan Pablo Vaulet (198-SF-96, agency: Interperformances, currently plays in Spain) was the major contributor in a 1-point La ICL Manresa‘s victory against the fourth-ranked Movil Estudiantes (18-12) 102-101 in the Spanish Liga Endesa on Saturday night.
Vaulet scored 14 points and grabbed 7 rebounds.
BAXI Manresa (15-18) is placed eighth in the Liga Endesa.
There are only three games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical.
Vaulet’s overall stats this season are: 7.8ppg and 4.1rpg.
He is another player who holds two passports: Polish and Argentinian.

   #3. Gal Gilinski (195-PG-95, agency: Avi Zilberman, currently plays in Israel) could not help Ironi Nahariya (3-21) in their last game on Thursday. Despite his very good performance the bottom-ranked Ironi Nahariya was defeated 94-90 on the road by the higher-ranked Ironi Nes-Ziona (#8).
Gilinski recorded 16 points, 6 assists and 3 steals.
The Regular Season already ended.
Gilinski’s overall stats this season are: 5.1ppg, 2.1rpg and 1.8apg.
He has both Polish and Israeli nationalities.
Despite Gilinski’s Polish passport, he previously played for the Israeli U20 national team and is probably not eligible to play for the Polish team.

   #4. Experienced Oded Brandwein (179-PG-88, currently plays in Balkan League) managed to help Hapoel Holon to win against the closely-ranked Academik Plovdiv (2-2) 91-75 in the Balkan League in Thursday night’s game.
Brandwein recorded only 2 points.
It was the game of the round between two top 2 ranked teams in group G. Hapoel Holon (4-0) is placed first.
So far his team won all four games in the Finals.
Brandwein’s overall stats this season are: 9.2ppg, 1.5rpg and 3.0apg.
He also holds two passports: Polish and Israeli.

   #5. Nimrod Tishman (197-PG-91, also represented by Avi Zilberman, currently plays in Israel) was not able to help M.Rishon in their game against Maccabi Haifa (10-13) in the Israeli Winner League.
Tishman recorded 5 points in 17 minutes.
M.Rishon lost 99-106 in Haifa to the higher-ranked (#6) Maccabi.
It was M.Rishon’s third consecutive loss in a row.
The Regular Season already ended.
This year Tishman’s total stats are: 3.0ppg, 2.0rpg and 2.2apg in 21 games.
Similarly like Brandwein and Gilinski above he has dual citizenship: Polish and Israeli.

   #6. Maciej Baginski (195-SF-95, currently plays in Iceland) led Njardvik to a 3-point victory over the seventh-ranked Grindavik 94-91 in the Icelandic Dominos League last Friday.
Baginski was the top player that evening. He recorded 26 points (!!!).
Baginski has reliable stats this season: 10.4ppg, 1.9rpg and 1.1apg.
He holds both Polish and Icelandic passports.

   #7. Dennis Nawrocki (192-SF-92, currently plays in Germany) contributed to a 1-point Science City Jena‘s victory against the fourth-ranked Artland Dragons 88-87 in the German ProA (second division) in Monday night’s game.
Nawrocki recorded 10 points.
Nawrocki has averaged so far 8.1ppg, 2.7rpg and 1.1apg.
He has dual citizenship: Polish and German.

   #8. Yehonatan Yam (182-PG-99, currently plays in Israel) contributed to Hasharon‘s victory against the 13th-ranked Elitzur Yavne 80-72 in the Israeli National League (second division) last Friday.
Yam recorded 6 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 25 minutes.
Yam has averaged so far 3.1ppg, 1.8rpg and 1.9apg in 28 games.
He holds both Israeli and Polish passports.

   #9. Maciek Klimaszewski (205-C-95, currently plays in Iceland) contributed to Hamar‘s victory against one of league’s weakest teams Fjolnir 102-94 in the Icelandic D1 (second division) on Friday night.
Klimaszewski scored 8 points.
Klimaszewski has averaged so far 2.5ppg and 2.0rpg.
He has Polish and Icelandic nationalities.
Despite Klimaszewski’s Polish passport, he previously played for the Icelandic U18 national team and probably cannot be called to the Polish team.
