LoKoKo Bisons – ToPo Juniorit 80-64

LoKoKo Bisons fired past ToPo Juniorit to sweep Division A Finals and clinched the trophy. The game without a history. LoKoKo Bisons led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. LoKoKo Bisons outrebounded ToPo Juniorit 41-27 including 30 on the defensive glass. It was an exceptional evening for American forward Jalen Canty (203-95, college: UCSB) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 22 rebounds (on 12-of-14 shooting from the field). Greek point guard Alexandros Spyridonidis (190-95) accounted for 20 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side. Four LoKoKo Bisons players scored in double figures. Swingman Juuso Kauppinen (188-94) came up with 23 points and 6 rebounds and center Mikael Sandberg (210-91) added 15 points respectively for ToPo Juniorit in the defeat.

Huima – Kipina 91-90

Huima narrowly edged Kipina to win Group B title. The hosts trailed by 6 points after three quarters before their 31-24 charge, which allowed them to win the game. It was a great evening for American forward Kavaughn Scott (201-98, college: Loyola, MD) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 20 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field). His fellow American import guard Prentiss Nixon (188-97, college: Iowa St., agency: Green Sports Management) helped adding 28 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. The best for the losing side was American forward Antonio Bivins (198-92, college: UMass Lowell) with a double-double by scoring 27 points and 10 rebounds and swingman Jarmo Uecker (192-95) scored 12 points.
