Andrzej Krajewski

Experienced Andrzej Krajewski (203-F/C) had an amazing evening in the last round for AZS PO and that’s him to receive a Interperformances 1Liga Player of the Week award for round 26.
The power forward had a double-double of 17 points and eleven rebounds, while his team crushed Pelplin (#13, 9-17) with 25-point margin 107-82. AZS PO is placed at 8th position in Polish 1Liga. AZS PO is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 13-13 record. It was one of impressive evenings for Krajewski as usually he does not deliver so high stats. Andrzej Krajewski averages this season 6.7ppg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round’s games was 28-year old forward Pawel Nowicki (201-F-92) of Klodzko. Nowicki impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 23 points and 12 rebounds. Bad luck as Klodzko lost that game 85-92 to slightly higher-ranked Wisla Krakow (#15, 8-18). The game was between two teams which are definitely not main contenders for the title. Klodzko is still at the dead bottom 16th position. 25 lost games are too many considering they did not win any game. Nowicki is well-known by Klodzko fans and he already established his position as one of team’s most reliable players.

The third best performed player last round was Tomasz Prostak (188-SG-88, agency: Octagon Europe) of WKK Wroclaw (#3). Prostak scored 29 points and passed four assists. Despite Prostak’s great performance WKK Wroclaw lost 82-83 to #4 ranked Tychy. But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates especially in such crucial game. The last thing WKK Wroclaw needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 19 victories and 7 lost games. Prostak has a very solid season. In 25 games in Poland he scored 13.4ppg.

The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it’s accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) – 2*BSAG – 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM – 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) – 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) – (FTA-FTM)
