American Forward Noah Dahlman (202-F-89) put on an amazing game in the last round for Zwolle, receiving a Interperformances Player of the Week award for round 7.
The 31-year old player was the main contributor (18 points, nine rebounds and four assists) to his team’s victory, helping them to beat Den Helder (#5, 4-3) 81-71. Zwolle maintains the 3rd position in Dutch DBL. They are still close to the very top. Zwolle would have been even better if they kept winning the games like in the last round. They have a solid 6-1 record. Dahlman has many years of experience at Zwolle, through which he has constantly improved. Noah Dahlman averages this season 13.4ppg.

The second best player in last round’s games was 24-year old Colombian Andres Ibarguen (198-F-96) of Yoast United. Ibarguen had a very good evening with a double-double of 19 points and 14 rebounds. It was enough for Yoast United to edge the lower-ranked Hague (#11, 1-6) 73-68. Yoast United’s 4th position in the standings has not changed. His team’s 5-2 record is not bad at all. Ibarguen is a newcomer at Yoast United, but is already one of team’s top players.

Third on the list of top players last round was international forward Emmanuel Nzekwesi (203-F-97) of league’s top team Leiden. Nzekwesi scored 24 points and grabbed twelve rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of Leiden, leading his team to a 87-84 win against the lower-ranked Feyenoord (#7, 3-3). Leiden have amazing season winning all 7 games without a single defeat. Nzekwesi turns to be one of the very best players in the league while he is also a leader of the top team having his eyes on the championship title. Nzekwesi has a great season in Holland. After only 7 games, he made it on the list of the league’s leaders in points with 23.1ppg (best scorer) and rebounds with 10.0rpg (2nd best).

5. Worthy de Jong (194-G-88) of Leiden – 19 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists
6. Sander Hollanders (194-G-01) of BAL Weert – 22 points and 3 rebounds
7. Stefan Wessels (204-F-84) of Den Bosch – 15 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists
8. Bart Bijnsdorp) of Hague – 14 points, 10 rebounds and 3 assists
9. Demario Mayfield (196-G-91) of Den Bosch – 22 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists
10. Jeroen van der List (213-C/F-89) of Feyenoord – 17 points and 10 rebounds

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
