This is still too early stage of the Regular Season in 2Liga and we should expect many changes in upcoming rounds. The round was exceptionally exciting as three games ended with a tiny margin. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

First defeat of league’s leader Bielsko-Biala (2-1) against Mickiewicz (1-2) 76-63 was the most important game of the last round. Mickiewicz had a 32-19 advantage in offensive rebounds. They shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 53.8 percentage. It was a good game for Tomasz Krzyminski (201-1) who led his team to a victory with 22 points. Power forward Piotr Karpacz (202-98) contributed with 13 points, 7 rebounds and 4 blocks for the winners. Mickiewicz’s coach Jaroslaw Jakubiec used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Center Szymon Lukasiak (205-87, college: Jacksonville) answered with 19 points and 6 rebounds for Bielsko-Biala. Bielsko-Biala will play next round against Czeladz trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Mickiewicz will try to continue on its current victory against MKS DG 2 in Dabrowa Gornicza.
Miedzychod (2-1) recorded a loss in Inowroclaw. Visitors were defeated by Notec Inowr. (3-0) 78-70. It was a great evening for Mikolaj Grod (194-89) who led his team to a victory scoring 20 points and 6 rebounds. Jakub Kondraciuk helped adding 19 points. The best for the losing side was Mariusz Malachowski (194-85) with 20 points and 6 rebounds. Notec Inowr. will play against Tarnovia (#3) in Tarnowo Podgorne in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Miedzychod will play at home against Poznan Pyra and hopes to get back on the winning track.
An interesting game was also tough home loss of Tur Bielsk Pdl. in a game in Bielsk Podlaski versus undefeated Polonia W-wa (#2) 78-70. It was an exceptional evening for Marcin Dutkiewicz who led the winners and scored 22 points. Przemyslaw Tradecki came up with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 assists for Tur Bielsk Pdl. in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Polonia W-wa will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Tur Bielsk Pdl. will play against MKS Ochota (#6) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

There were no big surprises in other games of round 3:
In Group A winless Politechnika Gd. lost to undefeated Tarnovia on the road 81-90. AZS UMK won against SMS PZKosz on its own court 70-60. Astoria 2 unfortunately lost to Arka 2 in Gdynia 83-96. Trefl 2 managed to beat Ogniwo Szcz. at home 80-76. Poznan crushed Chelmno on the opponent’s court 91-52. Winless KKS Basket lost to undefeated Poznan Pyra in a home game 51-78. Trefl 2 lost to undefeated Gniezno on the road 75-101.
In Group B MKS Ochota was outscored by Ostrow Mazow. on its own court 78-109. Winless Radom Kolejarz lost to undefeated Zubry in Bialystok 59-75. Pisz crushed Zyrardow at home 100-69. Piaseczno was beaten by Hutnik W-wa on the opponent’s court 75-77. Winless Legia 2 lost to undefeated LKS Lodz in a home game 74-104. AZS UJK lost to undefeated Isetia on the road 80-83.
In Group C Tarn.Gory rolled over Czeladz on its own court 92-63. MKS DG 2 crushed AZS PCz in Dabrowa Gornicza 101-74. AZS AGH II was beaten by Czeladz at home 72-81. Tarn.Gory won against Gliwice 2 on the opponent’s court 79-67. UR Krakow managed to outperform Tarnow in a home game 90-73. Przemysl was rolled over Polonia Bytom on the road 91-54. Rybnik lost to undefeated Cracovia on its own court 59-60.
In Group D WKK 2 was smashed by Zary in a road game 44-107. Prudnik destroyed Stal Ostrow 2 at home 100-81. Winless Sudety lost to undefeated Pleszew on the opponent’s court 74-92. Nysa managed to beat Olesnica in a home game 74-64. Rydzyna defeated Katy Wroc. on the road 90-86. Winless Gimbasket was beaten by Koscian on its own court 74-75.
The most impressive performance of 3rd round was 27 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals by Hubert Lalak of Trefl 2.

Group Group A

Notec Inowr. – Miedzychod 78-70

Miedzychod (2-1) recorded a loss in Inowroclaw. Visitors were defeated by Notec Inowr. (3-0) 78-70. Notec Inowr. forced 24 Miedzychod turnovers. It was a great evening for Mikolaj Grod (194-89) who led his team to a victory scoring 20 points and 6 rebounds. Guard Jakub Kondraciuk (191-99) helped adding 19 points.
