35-year old power forward Milivoje Bozovic (210-F/C-85) put on an amazing game in the last round for Celik and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 7.
He had a double-double of 22 points and 20 rebounds, while his team beat Bosna-Royal (#7, 2-3) 78-66. Celik maintains the 4th position in Bosnia and Herzegovina league. They would have been even better if they hadn’t lost a few games earlier this season. Celik will need more victories to improve their 4-3 record. In the team’s last game Bozovic had a remarkable 57.1% from 2-point range. He turned to be Celik’s top player in his first season with the team. Bozovic has impressive league stats. He is in league’s top in points (2nd best: 24.1ppg) and averages solid 1.7bpg,63.7% FGP and 45.8% from behind 3-point line.
Second best performed player last round was Sreten Knezevic (206-F/C-94, agency: PEPI SPORT) of Zrinjski HT. He is Serbian forward in his first season at Zrinjski HT. In the last game Knezevic recorded impressive double-double of 18 points and 15 rebounds. Of course Zrinjski HT cruised to a 108-101 relatively comfortable win over the lower-ranked Sloboda T. (#6, 3-3). Zrinjski HT’s 3rd position in the standings has not changed. A very good start of the season for his team, which won so far all 4 games without any defeat. Knezevic is a newcomer at Zrinjski HT and quickly became one of team’s most reliable players.
Third place about best performers goes to forward Ibrahim Durmo (199-F/C-97) of Sloboda T. (#6). Durmo scored 21 points and grabbed twenty rebounds (!!!). Despite Durmo’s great performance Sloboda T. lost 101-108 to the league’s current leader Zrinjski HT (#3, 4-0). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. The last thing Sloboda T. needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 3 victories and 3 lost games. Durmo has a great season in Bosnia. After only 6 games, he made it on the list of the league’s leaders in rebounds with 9.5rpg (3rd best).

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it’s accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) – 2*BSAG – 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM – 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) – 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) – (FTA-FTM)
