Tsmoki II defeated RGUOR in Minsk 66-52. The hosts trailed by 8 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 7-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 66-52. Tsmoki II dominated on the defensive end, holding RGUOR to just 5 points in second quarter. They also forced 23 RGUOR turnovers. The best player for the winners was swingman Illia Milasheuski (187-4) who had a double-double by scoring 23 points, 15 rebounds and 5 assists. Ivan Terehov (199-3) chipped in 14 points and 5 rebounds. Forward Daniil Kosko (189-4) produced 16 points and 6 rebounds for the guests. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.

Ukrainian point guard Maksim Miroshnichenko (182-96, agency: BIG) orchestrated the victory by scoring 16 points and 4 assists. Andrey Navoychik contributed with 17 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Ukrainian center Maksym Kozlovets (202-90, agency: BIG) replied with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds for Impuls BGUIR Minsk. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Grodno will play against Rubon in Vitebsk in the next round. Impuls BGUIR Minsk will play at home against Grodno GrSU and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

The game in Vitebsk was also worth to mention about. Borisfen played at the court of Rubon. Borisfen defeated Rubon 87-77. Brooks DeBisschop notched 22 points and 9 rebounds to lead the effort. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Borisfen’s next round opponent will be Tsmoki-Minsk at home and it will be for sure the game of the week. Rubon will play against Grodno and hope to win that game.

The best player for the winners was Timofey Verevkin who scored 20 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.

The best stats of 2nd round was 16 points and 14 rebounds by Yegor Dudov of Gomel.

Grodno GrSU – Tsmoki-Minsk 50-99

The game in Grodno supposed to be also quite interesting. Tsmoki-Minsk played at the court of Grodno GrSU. Tsmoki-Minsk smashed Grodno GrSU 99-50 on Saturday. The game without a history. Tsmoki-Minsk led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 72 of its points in the paint compared to Grodno GrSU’s 32. Tsmoki-Minsk forced 35 Grodno GrSU turnovers and outrebounded them 48-28 including a 21-8 advantage in offensive rebounds. Tsmoki-Minsk looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Grodno GrSU’s players. Forward Kirill Chumakov (197-95) had a double-double by scoring 24 points and 13 rebounds (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and Timofey Porolev (208-97) chipped in 18 points and 13 rebounds during the contest. Four Tsmoki-Minsk players scored in double figures. Point guard Dmitriy Mahnach (180-1) responded with 14 points and point guard Anton Gaidel (188-3) scored 8 points and 5 rebounds. An exciting game was played in Minsk. Grodno faced Impuls BGUIR Minsk. Guests from Grodno defeated host Impuls BGUIR Minsk 89-72. The game was mostly controlled by Grodno. Impuls BGUIR Minsk was better in third quarter 25-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Rubon – Borisfen 77-87

The game in Vitebsk was also worth to mention about. Borisfen played at the court of Rubon. Borisfen defeated Rubon 87-77. Rubon was tied at the half but could not keep up in last two quarters eventually losing the game. They outrebounded Rubon 43-31 including 18 on the offensive glass. Borisfen players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. They brought some defensive toughness making 7 blocks. American power forward Brooks DeBisschop (206-98, college: NAU) notched 22 points and 9 rebounds to lead the effort and Ilya Sharipov (198-91) supported him with 21 points and 5 rebounds. Even 21 points and 8 rebounds by the former international forward Victor Ovsepyan (202-91) did not help to save the game for Rubon. Forward Ruslan Pishcheyko (198-98) added 15 points for the hosts. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Borisfen’s next round opponent will be Tsmoki-Minsk at home and it will be for sure the game of the week. Rubon will play against Grodno and hope to win that game.
