Darjus Lavrinovic

Former international Center Darjus Lavrinovic (212-C-79) had a great game in the last round for Vytis, receiving a Interperformances NKL Player of the Week award for round 34.
The 41-year old player was the main contributor (35 points, seven rebounds) to his team’s victory, helping them to crush Delikatesas (#14, 5-17) with 24-point margin 95-71. Vytis is placed at 5th position in Lithuanian NKL. They would have been even better if they hadn’t lost a few games earlier this season. Vytis will need more victories to improve their 14-5 record. In the team’s last game Lavrinovic had a remarkable 100.0% from 2-point range and got six three-pointers out of 7 attempts. He turned to be Vytis’ top player in his first season with the team. Darjus Lavrinovic has solid league stats. He is in league’s top in points (8th best: 15.7ppg) and averages impressive 65.5% FGP and 46.3% from behind 3-point line.

The second best player in last round’s games was 29-year old former international forward Darius Tarvydas (199-F-91) of Jonava. Tarvydas had a very good evening with a triple-double of 11 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists. Of course he led Jonava to another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Mazeikiai (#13, 6-19) 126-83. Jonava’s 3rd position in the standings has not changed. His team lost just two games this season, while they won 16 matches. Tarvydas is a newcomer at Jonava, but is already one of team’s top players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 19.0ppg (#2). He also registered 6.7 boards per game.

Third on the list of top players last round was another Jonava’s star – forward Ignas Labutis (199-F-94). Labutis scored 23 points and passed six assists. He was another key player of Jonava, helping his team with a 126-83 easy win against the lower-ranked Mazeikiai (#13, 6-19). Jonava is closer and closer to top of the standings. They will still need more victories. But 16-2 record is not that bad… Labutis has a very solid season. In 17 games in Lithuania he scored 9.7ppg. He also has 4.1rpg and FGP: 66.3%.

The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it’s accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) – 2*BSAG – 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM – 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) – 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) – (FTA-FTM)
